Real Moissanite. Tested By Us, Not A Piece Of Paper.

Some sellers call CZ moissanite. We don't. We choose each stone with care and test it ourselves before it ships. What you get is real moissanite.

We know why you're being careful. The moissanite market is full of sellers who cut corners, mislabel stones, or say "moissanite" while shipping something else entirely. You shouldn't have to gamble on something you're going to wear every day.

So here's exactly what you're getting when you buy from Solita Stones, and why we do things a little differently.

What Moissanite Actually Is

Moissanite isn't a diamond substitute made of glass or plastic. It's a lab grown gemstone made of silicon carbide, first discovered in nature by Henri Moissan and now created in controlled lab environments for jewelry. It has its own optical fingerprint. Its fire and brilliance actually exceed a diamond's in certain lighting, which is part of why people fall in love with it once they see it in person.

It's not a fake diamond. It's its own stone, and a stunning one.

Why We Don't Rely On GRA Certificates

You've probably seen moissanite sellers everywhere waving around "GRA Certified" paperwork. We looked into this closely, and here's what we found. GRA certificates aren't issued by an established, independent gemological authority the way GIA or IGI certificates are. A lot of sellers use them because the paperwork looks official, not because it means much.

We'd rather not hand you a certificate that gives false confidence. So we don't lean on GRA. Instead, we test every stone ourselves.

How We Verify Every Stone

Before any stone leaves our hands, it goes through a diamond tester pen, the same tool jewelers and gemologists use to check thermal conductivity. Real moissanite is one of the only stones that reads positive on these testers, almost identically to a diamond. Cubic zirconia and glass, the most common fakes on the market, fail this test immediately.

This isn't a piece of paper from an organization you've never heard of. It's a physical test we run ourselves, on the actual stone you're going to receive.

The Diamond Tester Problem, Explained

Here's why this test matters so much. Most fakes sold as moissanite are actually cubic zirconia or glass. Sellers pushing those materials avoid showing this test on camera, because it would immediately expose what they're really selling.

We test openly because we have nothing to hide. If you ever want to see how this works, we're happy to show you.
