Find your ring size
A ring should feel like it isn't there at all. Here are two simple ways to find your size, at home, in a few minutes.
Method One: The String Trick
The easiest way to feel your true size.
- Take a thin string or a strip of paper.
- Wrap it snugly around the base of your finger.
- Mark where it overlaps.
- Lay it flat and measure the length in millimeters.
- Match the number to the chart below.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest. Avoid measuring when cold.
Method Two: The Ring You Already Own
If you have a ring that already fits the intended finger, this is the fastest way.
- Choose a ring that fits well.
- Lay it flat on a ruler.
- Measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in millimeters.
- Match the number to the chart below.
Size Chart
| Diameter (mm) | Circumference (mm) | Size (US) |
|---|---|---|
| 14.9 | 46.8 | 4 |
| 15.7 | 49.3 | 5 |
| 16.5 | 51.9 | 6 |
| 17.3 | 54.4 | 7 |
| 18.1 | 56.9 | 8 |
| 18.9 | 59.5 | 9 |
A Small Note
Between two sizes? Choose the larger one. A ring that's slightly loose is more comfortable than one that isn't.
